The Entegra R9 was designed to be the most powerful flight and easiest to use flight deck in general aviation. The Entegra R9 silver package leverages the redundancy of having dual IFD5000 displays that can be configured to show any of the data available from either IFD. This provides a significant improvement in redundancy over first and second generation avionics.

The Entegra R9 silver package fits the mission profile for pilots that do not require WAAS capabilities but still want to take advantage of the Entegra R9 system. This also allows for a simpler and lower cost installation process.
